Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Lila and I'm a 7 pound, 8 year young blend of Italian Greyhound and Chihuahua. I was plucked off the street by animal control. Lucky for me because it was excruciatingly hard for a tiny girl like me to fend for herself on the streets. I did encounter a much larger dog that wasn't kind to me. It did bite me but I managed to get away with my life.

I'm now safe, warm and getting all I need to eat :) I'm trying to put my not so nice past behind me but I'm still nervous around those "big ones" and will try to fend them off even if they are kind to me. I guess it's something like the human PTSD. I hope to someday overcome my fear of the "big ones" but would prefer not to be in their company just yet.

I love human attention! I ask to be picked up and will sit on your lap for hours if you will allow it. I follow my foster mom everywhere...guess I still have that fear of being abandoned again.
