Naomi's Story...
Hi I'm Naomi. I'm a pretty calico/tortie kitty rescued from a farm in Morgantown along with my daughter Wynonna. A milk delivery truck driver notified Stray Cat Blues volunteers about us since he saw that we were not being properly cared for. He also saw that we are very friendly and he was able to just pick us up and put us in carriers. We were so lucky that we were plucked off the farm and didn’t have to live outdoors during the worst of the winter.

I am a very outgoing, loving, friendly, and social kitty. I love people and love attention. I'm a bit of talker too. I'll meow to get you to notice me. I've got it all, looks and personality and will add a lot of love to my new home. They estimate that I’m about three years old.

Naomi is spayed, litterbox trained, is up to date on vaccinations, and tested negative for FeLV and FIV.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Naomi, a Colmar Calico cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Calico for sale in Colmar, or seeking a Calico cat from a breeder in Colmar.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Colmar already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Colmar breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Calico breeders who help with Calico rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Colmar paves the way for another one to be saved.
