My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mia, born July 8, 2010, purebred Blue Point Birman

Mia is a sweet, beautiful cat. Her coat is soft and fluffy, and doesn't require much care. Brushing her once or twice a week is all that is needed to keep her looking gorgeous. She does, however, enjoy being groomed, and I'm sure would love to be brushed more often. She is a princess and loves attention and care.

Mia came into rescue as an owner surrender. She was purchased from a breeder as a 6 month old kitten so she is registered in the Cat Fancy Association. Her owner got a puppy when she was almost 4 years old, and she was very upset. They tried to work it out, but Mia just became more withdrawn and sad. They felt it was best to find Mia a new home, without any dogs, where she can be spoiled and adored.

She likes to have the company of people in a fairly quiet home. If someone is home most of the time, she would be in heaven. Once she is settled, she will follow you around and sit near you if you are watching TV or working on your computer. She is playful and enjoys chasing her fish toy. She is a love! Mia would be a great addition to your life! She is fostered in the Sacramento area.
