JACK's Story...
Jack is the brother to Jill, both of which were rescued together and so they've spent their entire young lives with one another. They are currently in a foster home and go to work each day with their foster mom, who owns a specialty retail shop. They are exposed to many people each day and just doing wonderfully. Jack can be a bit on the submissive side with his sister, but both are extremely playful and happy. They can be a bit shy in the beginning, but warm up quickly. Like all puppies, they will benefit from basic training. Jack is crate trained and now ready for a home of his own.

He is available now, and can be adopted before we arrive at PetSmart in Wheaton, IL on Saturday, March 12th. Please complete an online application, which you can find on our website at No in-store, same day adoptions are available.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

JACK, a Wheaton Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Chihuahua for sale in Wheaton, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Wheaton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wheaton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wheaton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Chihuahua breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wheaton paves the way for another one to be saved.
