Here's what the humans have to say about me:
RUBY – 4 year Bull Mastiff Mix. Ruby has quite a story to tell. Ruby originally came from Louisiana. There she had been placed by a shelter in a home but was returned because she was heartworm positive. A volunteer at that shelter decided to give her to a friend, who in turn gave her to someone in Illinois where she ended up with a homeless person. Ruby was then turned into a shelter in the Chicago area and now she is with Recycled Rotts where she finally being treated for heartworm. Phew! Where you able to follow this tail?
Ruby has been treated for heart worm and is ready to settle down with a new family. She is a very sweet girl, who would just prefer to have a home as the only dog where she can be the center of attention. Ruby is extremely well behaved and walks like a dream on a leash. She is very low key, just wants to hang out, maybe have a nice yard where she can play. Ruby would do best in a home with children over the age of 5.
