Merlin's Story...
Merlin is a stunningly handsome, sweet and gentle boy who would love a family to call his own. He has the most gorgeous green eyes that always seem surprised at whatever you're doing which makes him that much more adorable. He loves to play, snuggle or chill out in front of a window and watch the days go by. He is incredibly gentle and soft but we do believe that he needs a quieter home with older children. He loves to watch movies with you, he loves to sleep beside you or whatever you up for. He's a perfect companion.

Merlin's adoption fee is $150, he is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, received a dose of revolution and has been dewormed and pre loved by his fosters. He has also been declawed before coming into the rescue. Please email us for an application and we can set up a meeting with Merlin. He is fostered in Listowel.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Merlin, a Hanover Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Hanover, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Hanover.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hanover already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hanover breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hanover paves the way for another one to be saved.
