Jewel's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Jewel's Story...
Jewel is a one year old blue, medium sized pitbull that is full of cuddles and kisses. That is what she is through and through. She is not food or toy aggressive. Jewel is very eager to please and once learned follows commands, she "comes", "sit" and "heels" (small treat reward still after commands).

Jewel needs to be in a home with a playmate where she can play and exert energy during the day, and have regular walks. If not walked or gets to play she will chew up toys but nothing else. She is initially strong when meeting a new dog but with correct introduction (going for a walk on neutral territory) and showing her how to behave she adjusts quick and is eager to please you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jewel, a Sanford Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Sanford, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Sanford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sanford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sanford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sanford paves the way for another one to be saved.
