My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dakota is a 53 pound mutt, who we assume is some sort of mix of cattle dog. She was adopted as a young puppy from a person on craigslist who had too many dogs as a companion for her sister. She loves her sister dearly- but is not so fond of other animals. She is a people dog, who enjoy belly rubs, chasing a ball, playing rope, swimming, and pretty much any other high energy activity. When at the Dog Park, she first must greet every person and get as much love as possible! Dakota is very protective of her people and is a great guard dog.

Dodger is a 48 pound 6 year old white German Sheppard and Siberian husky mix. Dodger was adopted at 6 weeks old from someone giving away puppies at the grocery store. She is friendly to everyone, people and dogs included and has not found someone she doesn’t consider a friend (except cats, she loves to chase cats!). Dakota is dodger’s best friend in the whole world. She gets a bit anxious when she doesn’t have her sister nearby- so much so, they choose to sleep in the same kennel together!

Both Dodger and Dakota are spayed, micro chipped, fully vaccinated, potty trained, and have basic manners (sit, shake, lay down, etc). Dakota is best in a family with no other pets (besides her best friend Dodger) and with older kids.

To ensure a good home, we ask a $50.00 rehoming fee for each Dodger and Dakota which will be donated directly to an animal charity.

Dodger and Dakota are courtesy posts for Valley Dogs Rescue. If you are interested in meeting this sweet pair please contact Leah and Wayne: leahannethompson18@gmail.com
