Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Atticus was another one of the collies from the puppy mill situation. The same one that Annette, Ava, Chance and others came from.
He is a 2 or 3 yr old Sable headed white male. Weighing in at a mere 52 lbs at the time of his neuter. He is being fostered by a volunteer who is a vet tech. His coat was such a mess he is now sporting a Lion cut but will have a gorgeous full coat when it grows back.
Atticus loves going to the clinic with his foster Mom everyday high stepping his way around showing off. When clients come in he loves to greet them by putting his feet up on the counter to get their attention.
Atticus is getting along well with the foster’s own dogs and likes cats but will chase them if not monitored. Atticus will answer another dog’s challenge over treats so he does need some work on self control.
More to come as we get to know Atticus better. He is being fostered in Ohio.
Only serious inquires please!
If you are interested in this dog, please submit an application on our website. Our organization is run by volunteers and it is hard for them to answer all the emails that come in about dogs. Once we receive your application, an interviewer will call you and try to answer any additional questions you may have. Our application can be found at http://www.tristatecollierescue.org/ under the adopt tab. Thank you.
