Niko-LITTLE BLACK PANTHER's Story...
I'm a little sweetheart, and I look like a mini panther. Hi, I'm NIKO, and I am cute and cuddly. I love to head-butt you and rub my face on yours .. all while purrrrrring of course. I'm sort of small and purr-fectly lap-sized and have amazing orange eyes. I can be a bit cautious about life in general, so a quieter, calmer home is best. No young kids please. Ever. I'm fine with another laidback kitty (Tuna's my buddy). A quieter dog who ignores me is okay. I'm searching for someone to snuggle and sleep with .. could it be YOU?

** NIKO is estimated to be 1. His adoption fee is $125. Come see him at the Naperville PETSMART (Rt. 59 and 111th)! WALK-IN ADOPTION HOURS at that location are 11-2:00 on SATURDAYS and SUNDAYS -- NO APPOINTMENT NECESSARY..

** For more information or to schedule a weekday appointment, please email purrsnaperville@yahoo.com. (Our phones are currently under maintenance, and will be available again shortly.)

** All PURRS' cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, FIV/FeLeuk tested, wormed, and microchipped.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Niko-LITTLE BLACK PANTHER, a Hillside Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Hillside, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Hillside.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hillside already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hillside breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hillside paves the way for another one to be saved.
