Axel's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, and not good with cats.

Axel's Story...
Axel has spent his first 5 years on an Amish puppy mill farm. He's a large loveable guy, always willing to lean on you for attention. Typical Malamute, Axel cannot live with small pets of either gender, nor can he live with a male dog of any size. He would love to have a large fur-sister to hang out with. If you are interested in adopting Axel, please request an application from malrescuede@gmail.com. Our dogs are up to date on shots, heart worm negative, on preventative and spayed/neutered. The adoption fee is $250

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Axel, a Augusta County Alaskan Malamute dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Alaskan Malamute for sale in Augusta County, or seeking a Alaskan Malamute dog from a breeder in Augusta County.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Augusta County already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Augusta County breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Alaskan Malamute breeders who help with Alaskan Malamute rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Augusta County paves the way for another one to be saved.
