I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, not good with dogs, and not good with cats.

BEAUFORD's Story...

If we didn’t know any better, we’d think Beauford were a bulldog!!  A solid, muscular feline who’s all mush, this guy is impressive in size and demeanor.   Beauford is a laid back kind of fella who is content just hanging around the house, taking in the view out of a window.   He is approximately 2 years old, neutered, up to date on all vaccinations, kid friendly, and an alpha-male with a slightly weakened immune system.   Beauford would thrive best as an only cat in a loving, indoor only home of his own!   Contact us today if you'd like to have a dog-cat of your very own! Application, adoption fee and home visit required.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

BEAUFORD, a Ridgewood Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Ridgewood, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Ridgewood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ridgewood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ridgewood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ridgewood paves the way for another one to be saved.
