Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Momma. This four year old Pit Mix has had one very very sad life. She lived on the streets with her owner, in and out of homes she even visited a kill - shelter for an evening; however and luckily enough was picked up within a few days. Surviving in a kill shelter for even a few days tells you that this young girl is amazing. She came to us afraid and quite sad; however, she is blossoming into a wonderful and amazing dog. She sits, lays down, gives you her paw, goes and gets her "baby" (a small stuffed animal that she loves), she'll play ball - all on command. She is also wonderful off leash and will follow you where ever you go. We are treating Momma for a urinary infection that she came to us with, but she's doing wonderful and taking her meds daily! She'll be spayed soon. She is such a sweet girl. The day we picked her up, she was sitting in my passenger seat watching the world go by. She did not know what was going on or happening, but she knew she was being helped as she leaned over and gave me the sweetest kiss ever. I will never forget that kiss - it told me everything I needed to know. Momma needs your love and a loving, caring forever family so that she never has to go thru what she's gone thru in her short life again. This is the true meaning of a pit - so resilient, so loving and tender. She's given birth and lived with her son for a while so she's still got that mothering instinct ....Please give Momma that chance to start her life over in a loving forever environment. She's worth every bit of love she can get plus some! We fell in love with this girl in such a short time we know you will as well.
