Murphy's Story...
Hello my name is Murphy! I’m a huge boy, but I’m a gentle giant. I was thrown over the fence at the shelter overnight by my owner, and was very scared at first. But now I’m a happy-go-lucky dude that is always wiggling all over. I’m energetic so I need a home that can keep up with me. I am only a year old so I have plenty of time to learn new things with you! So far I have been very friendly with everyone and everything I have met. If you want to adopt me, I’ll be your sidekick for life!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Murphy, a South Haven Rottweiler/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler/Labrador Retriever for sale in South Haven, or seeking a Rottweiler/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in South Haven.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in South Haven already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a South Haven breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Rottweiler/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in South Haven paves the way for another one to be saved.
