Nicole's Story...

Nicole is a sweet and gentle puppy! She is curious, friendly and playful. She gets along well with dogs of all sizes, and is gentle with children.

Meet playful Nicole!
Nicole is your average puppy, curious, friendly, energetic, and playful. By nature, she is independent and well behaved. She has good temperament, willing to share her food and toys with other dogs. She enjoys being around people; she is a little girl who eagers for love and care. Nicole is smart; she is very receptive to training as long as it is consistent and regular. With proper training and socialization, Nicole will grow up to be a great family dog!

Nicole’s rescue story:
One day the rescuer was informed by an elderly lady that five puppies were abandoned in her neighborhood. It was an area where the dog catchers make regular patrols of stray dogs. The rescuer knew she needed to act fast or those puppies would most likely be caught and sent to the government run shelter. Once landed in the shelter, the pups would be given only 12 days to live before they are put down, if not adopted.
These puppies were taken out of the shelter in time and placed with loving foster homes. They were taken good care of and quickly grew up. Nicole is one of the chubbiest and independent pups among her littermates. She has a pair of witted eyes and shiny coat.

Nicole is very healthy; she has up to date vaccinations, rabies shot, and microchip. She is ready for a forever home. We are looking for a family that understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a puppy. A fenced in backyard would be recommended for this type of energetic puppy. Please give Nicole a chance to grow up safely and happily!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nicole, a Castro Valley Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Castro Valley, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Castro Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Castro Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Castro Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Castro Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
