Diamond is a 3 yr. old German Shepherd mix. She was brought to the shelter by her first owners who no longer were able to take care of her. Diamond is a handsome/pretty, alert, friendly girl with a personable and easy going manner. However, she is a bit shy with people and other dogs. Diamond will need lots of love, time and patience while she bonds to a new family and home. We would want someone to come visit her several times at the shelter so she knows them before going home with them. If you like Shepherds but don't mind a bit of a mix, please come see her. She truly is a 'good dog.' We aren't sure of Diamond's house training back ground so she will need supervision in a new home environment. We don't anticipate this to be a problem as she is a smart, obedient type girl! If interested in Diamond, please call the Amarillo SPCA at 806-622-0555 or visit the shelter at 11901 S. Coulter.
