"JASPER” IS NOW AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION. This creamy white Toy Poodle comes to us from a family going through a divorce. A difficult decision needed to be made as to where Jasper would live. The best choice was that Jasper just start his new life with another family. And so he arrived at Picket Fence Poodle Rescue Rehome very sad.
We do not have any Vet records for this Toy Poodle, except that we know he is neutered and only 2 years old.
His shots are all up to date, he has been wormed, Home Again micro chipped, heart-worm tested and placed on a preventative. Our Vet has found that Jasper still has some of his baby teeth, so they were removed with no problems.
As pictured on our web site, Jasper did come to us so badly matted that we had to shave him bald. He was not happy about the naked look, but I did reassure him that he is as strong as his pirate scarf and that his hair will quickly grow back.
This chunky boy is just 10″ tall (measuring from the floor to his shoulder), 11 1/2 pounds, long in body and short on leg. His tail is not docked, but he is always happily carrying it high over his back and curled up!
With lots of attention from us and all our Poodles, Jasper quickly adjusted to our home. And what a silly, happy and easy going boy he is! While he has been an only dog all his life, he greatly enjoys running and playing with all the other Poodles and Miley.
Jasper is a young Poodle who is active! Just throw a toy and watch him fetch it! Such a smart boy too… he likes to cuddle up with Mike or sit in my lap and give kisses. Or grab a leash and watch him come running as this boy loves to go for walks!
Jasper’s $400.00 (plus $28.00 Minnesota State Sale tax) will include all his vet work, his kennel, a new soft blanket, a dog bed, a bag of quality dog food, some treats, a sweater, his leash with a collar and lots of information to help your adoption start on the right paw forward.
O.K. I Agree! So, maybe he looks like a Poodle cross (Dachshund) ??? But his family stated that he was purchased from a Poodle Breeder (a “BYB”) in the Minneapolis area and that he IS a Poodle.
PLEASE no young children (under 10), no large and certainly no aggressive dogs for this gentle Poodle.
