She’s a special little lady who loves being with her human pals, especially when it’s cuddle time. Come meet Tina today and see what a great companion she can be.

If you are interested in an adoption, you must first complete a dog adoption application and meet with a PAWS of Coronado dog adoption counselor. You may complete an application at the Coronado ACF, the online dog adoption application or email dogadoptions@pawsofcoronado.org.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tina, a Coronado Wheaten Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Wheaten Terrier for sale in Coronado, or seeking a Wheaten Terrier dog from a breeder in Coronado.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Coronado already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Coronado breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Wheaten Terrier breeders who help with Wheaten Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Coronado paves the way for another one to be saved.
