Handsome Emery is a big guy with tons of energy. He has grown up in the kennel after having been returned as a puppy and marks one year in the kennel on October 23, 2016.  Emery needs an owner that can be the alpha pack leader and be in charge, and that has the time and space to give him lots of exercise and play every day along with continuing his basic training.  A fenced yard would be a definite plus.  For the right family, Emery will be a terrific dog.  Come see if you are the perfect match. Emery is at the shelter.

Emery's adoption fee is $250. He has been neutered, disease tested (dogs testing positive for heartworms are treated; however, we do not add that charge to our adoption fee), given age appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, and is up to date with flea/tick & heartworm prevention. A 24Petwatch microchip will be listed in the adopter's name and the adopter will receive 30 days of 24PetWatch pet insurance.

About Georgia SPCA

About Our Shelter...

Georgia SPCA is an adoption agency that rescues dogs and cats from GA shelters that are in danger of euthanasia. Once we pull an animal, it is vaccinated, quarantined for health reasons, dewormed, treated for fleas & ticks AND spayed or neutered prior to being placed up for adoption. We spay and neuter ALL of our pets including puppies and kittens.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We are open M-F 11-7, Sat 11-5 and Sun 1-4. The GA SPCA is on Buford Hwy is between McGinnis Ferry Rd. and Sugarload Parkway. We also have cats and kittens available for adoptions daily at the Flowery Branch Petsmart.

Our Adoption Process...

We begin our process with an adoption application. Once approved we sign a contract with the adopter. There is an adoption fee which varies depending on what type of pet. Our adoption fees help us pay for normal business expenses and animal care such as spay/neuter, vaccinations, Feline Leukemia and FIV testing for cats, Heartworm testing for dogs, deworming, flea & tick prevention, heartworm prevention and microchips.
