JONES's Story...
To meet Jones or to get more information on him, please call Jan at 435.635.0515

Jones is a sweet, buff colored cocker spaniel who is looking for a new home through no fault of his own. He is between the age of 10 and 11. After he starts to trust you, he is affectionate and just loves being by his person. Jones does not give kisses, but loves to lay right next to you. He is housetrained and knows the basic commands of sit, stay, and come. He likes walks or going to the dog park, and will occasionally fetch a stuffed animal for you. As with many cocker spaniels, Jones does have some trouble with his ears due to allergies. He has been allergy tested and it helps to stay away from products with fish, carrot, chicken, potato, yeast and duck. Jones is a true gentleman who just wants to be loved by someone and have some attention. He will sleep right next to you, or in a crate. Just look at those eyes. Could your home be the one for the rest of his life?

Jones adoption fee is $100 but he is eligible for our Seniors Helping Seniors Adoption Program. Ask Jan for more information when you call her at 435-635-0515

Why Adoption is a Great Option

JONES, a Hurricane Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Hurricane, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Hurricane.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hurricane already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hurricane breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hurricane paves the way for another one to be saved.
