REGAL's Story...
Say hello to Regal. He has a name that fits him perfectly. Regal is gorgeous and oh so sweet. He has not had the life he deserves but he is hoping that will change for him now that his owners left him at the shelter on 02/20. They did say he was good with kids but did not say much more. He will sit and stay and give you his paw. He is current on vaccines and will be neutered and micro-chipped when adopted. Sadly his people did not give him his once monthly heart worm preventative and he has tested positive for heart worms. Please speak with your vet for the best treatment options. He is waiting to meet you in run 19 and his ID# is 582308.
When calling the shelter about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER, the names are oftentimes made up by volunteers.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

REGAL, a Marietta German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Marietta, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
