My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Apache was found living in a field after being dumped. He was saved by a wonderful couple who went above and beyond in their effort to do the right thing. And he is very grateful! Apache is a 1-2 year old people pleaser. He is and old soul who is VERY smart and VERY in-tune with his people. He learns commands at a rapid pace and is on the higher end of the mellow scale :). He is a 60lb lap dog and prefers to sit ON you vs beside you. He is not a huge fan of the crate, but settles quickly now that he realizes his people are coming back! He is great with cats and will do fine with other calm, balanced dogs with proper introductions. Super smart, listens well and very sweet! Overall, he is going to make a very lucky family a loyal, kind companion!

Apache's adoption fee is $200. <p> All MVPC dogs are heart worm tested, completely vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, crate trained and on a great potty training schedule.

ALL inquiries begin with a submitted adoption application, which is found on our website, www.miamivalleypitcrew.com. DO NOT USE THE PETFINDER CONTACT/ADOPT BUTTONS--we are unable to monitor those--only submitted applications will receive a response. We do not adopt to individuals under the age of 25. Because we are volunteer based and a home visit is required, we have a two hour adoption radius from Kettering, OH for our adult dogs and 75 miles for our puppies. Exceptions for our ADULT dogs only, though rare, may be made on a case by case basis but we must be able to do a home visit. Thank you for your understanding!
