Lacie's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Lacie's Story...
Lacie is a 3.5 year old Black Lab. She was adopted from the local shelter and shortly after, her owner passed away. Lacie is still living in the home where she was adopted and does quite well. Unfortunately, the spouse of her adopter has her hands full and is not able to provide Lacie with the life she really deserves. She has been well taken care of, socialized, and as you can see, never misses a meal. But she needs water to swim in. Someone to teach her to fetch. A place to run or someone to walk her regularly. Lacie is a loving dog that will be a wonderful addition to any home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lacie, a Wartrace Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Wartrace, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Wartrace.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wartrace already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wartrace breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wartrace paves the way for another one to be saved.
