Important Note

Piper is best friends with Lily. Please adopt both of them so they can stay together!
Piper came to the shelter with sister Lily, after spending six years in his own home. His human was unable to care for the pair and brought them to C.A.R.E. Please consider giving these sweeties a new forever home.

About Critter Adoption and Rescue Effort (CARE)

About Our Shelter...

We are a small, all volunteer and no-kill shelter with room for between 40-60 dogs and cats. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and adopt homeless, abandoned, abused and relinquished animals and to operate a low cost spay-neuter clinic for low income residents. We have a 3 acre property with inside and outside kennel space and have 3 large dog play areas adjacent to the outside kennels. Our cattery consists of 3 large open bay rooms where cats are separated by age and allowed to roam free in the rooms and on their adjacent screened porches.
