C.J.'s Story...
Hi, my name is CJ. I am a male miniature pinscher mix born in 2002. I was relinquished to MaxFund because my owner could no longer care for me. While it is sad that I lost my family, I am eager to find a new family.

I am very sweet and like to sniff around. I get along with dogs, cats, and kids. Any kids in my family should be older since I am an older gentlemen. Because of my age I am also available for foster care. For more information about the MaxFund foster program, please call the shelter at 303-595-4917.

Coming to a new home is my dream come true, but please give me time to adjust to my new routine. Basic doggy training may be helpful if I do not already know.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

C.J., a Denver Miniature Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Pinscher for sale in Denver, or seeking a Miniature Pinscher dog from a breeder in Denver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Denver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Denver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Pinscher breeders who help with Miniature Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Denver paves the way for another one to be saved.
