My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Odom is a 7-8 month old Labrador mix weighing 30 pounds, heart worm negative and housebroken.

Odom has a glossy black coat with a single spot of white on his chest- like a lone star in a moonless midnight sky. His amber colored eyes are soulful, a bit sad, deep and inquisitive; his nose the color of licorice.
Initially cautious in new situations, Odom tends to watch from the sidelines gathering data before he decides to jump in. But in his foster home with 2 large adult female dogs, Odom is the younger/little brother that the girls pamper and prod, so that each day his horizons stretch and he becomes more confident and self assured. Only mildly interested in cats, he will walk away after a brief and respectful introduction. Odom crates easily, and settles quickly and quietly for overnight.
Sweet, easygoing and gentle, our little man will be a stellar pet- totally devoted to his adoptive family.

For more information on Odom, please email pbschoen18@gmail.com or call/text (225) 205-9330.

You might also be able to catch Odom at our Dog Adoption House at 8476 Highland Rd! The hours are M-F: 11:30-5pm / Sat & Sun: 11-3pm! However, be sure contact Odom's foster home first at to make they will be there on that day.
