Rainie's Story...
Hi! My name is Rainie. I am a tiny little girl and I am just looking for my furever home! My foster mom thinks we are cocker spaniel/golden retriever mixes, but that's just a guess. We are pretty tiny for 8 weeks old! I was born around 12-21-15, weigh about 4 pounds, and I love dogs, cats and kids. I am spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative, dewormed, current with all vaccines and on flea and heartworm prevention. I am all ready to be adopted :) My adoption fee is $425, and covers all of my vetting, and includes transport if my new family lives in the northeast USA. I am currently being fostered in South Carolina, but I can catch a ride up north to meet my new family. Please email my rescue at daybeforetherainbow@yahoo.com to get an adoption application! Thanks for checking me out!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rainie, a Newark Cocker Spaniel/Golden Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel/Golden Retriever for sale in Newark, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel/Golden Retriever puppy from a breeder in Newark.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Newark already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Newark breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel/Golden Retriever breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel/Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Newark paves the way for another one to be saved.
