My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Diana is about 3 years old. She is a pure bred female Rottweiler. Her previous owners bought her from a breeder April 29th 2013. She was surrendered because her previous owner is moving and isn’t allowed pets in his new home. The two things he liked most about her were; she's calm and affectionate.

Social Life and Personality:
Diana has not been around children or cats. She lived in the home with another Rottweiler and with him she is relaxed and playful and when she plays she is gentle. Diana is house trained and rarely has accidents indoors. She has a low activity level and is described as playful, affectionate, confident and friendly.

Behavior:
If her previous owner was to touch her food bowl she had a relaxed body and would continue eating. She is friendly if a treat is taken from her. She was not allowed on furniture. She is used to getting a bath once a week and loves the water. She isn't bothered if her nails are trimmed or if her paws are touched. She is friendly if her coat is brushed or if she is restrained. She wasn't bothered if an unfamiliar person approached the home or previous owner. She also wasn't bothered if she was disturbed while sleeping.

For a New Family to Know:
Diana knows how to sit on command. For exercise she went on slow walks twice a day. She did not play with toys. She was crate trained as a puppy but doesn't need it anymore. When her previous owner was home she would be in the same room. When left alone in the home she was well behaved. During storms/ fireworks Diana gets nervous. She ate wet Blue Buffalo. At night she slept in her dog bed.
