Peaches (ARSG)'s Story...
Prudence, Prim, Princeton, Peabody, Peaches and Poppy were surrendered by the owner of their mom at six weeks of age. They had tapeworm and roundworm, have been fecal tested, dewormed and we have begun their vaccinations. They will attend THEIR FIRST ADOPTION EVENT on FEBRUARY 27th when they are eight weeks old, from 1-5 PM at the Petsmart in Yorba Linda (5521 Mirage St.). They will be ready to go to their forever homes on February 27th. They are babies, they have no aggression and are not trained in any way (aside from a little potty training they have picked up in foster care). They would do great with any other animal their families choose to raise them with.

In order to be considered for adoption (and to interact with them during our upcoming adoption event) you must fill out an adoption application (details below) and email it to their foster mom, Ariel, who is listed as their contact on Adoptapet and Petfinder.

If you are interested in meeting this dog at our weekly adoption event on Saturdays at the Petsmart in Yorba Linda, CA (5521 Mirage St.) between 1-5 PM, please fill out an application from our website,, and return it via email to no later than 11 AM on Fridays. Due to the high volume of dogs and puppies in our foster homes, it is impossible to bring them all every Saturday. Otherwise, we cannot guarantee that the dog you are interested in will be at our adoption event. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Peaches (ARSG), a Santa Ana Shih Tzu/Toy Fox Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu/Toy Fox Terrier for sale in Santa Ana, or seeking a Shih Tzu/Toy Fox Terrier puppy from a breeder in Santa Ana.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Santa Ana already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Santa Ana breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu/Toy Fox Terrier breeders who help with Shih Tzu/Toy Fox Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Santa Ana paves the way for another one to be saved.
