Bentley's Story...
Hi! I'm Bentley. I was recently rescued with my momma and brother. We were living in a crate in someone's yard until a very nice stranger noticed us. She talked to the humans that were keeping us and told them she'd find a good home. I recently moved in with my momma and my brother into a foster home. I'm not sure what that is, but I love it. I get a nice warm bed to sleep in and I get to cuddle with my family when I'm not eating, napping or playing. I'm learning how to walk on a leash, but it's scary. I'm also learning how to potty outside. That part is hard because I was always in a crate - I don't know any better. But my foster has patience and forgives my accidents. I was taken to the place they call the vet. I don't know if I like it there. They stuck something sharp into me, but they say it'll help me keep me healthy. Anyway, if you're looking for a puppy that's not an energy ball but still likes to play, I'd like to meet you. I'm looking for a forever home of my own now that I am safe. I hope it is with you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bentley, a Hawthorne American Pit Bull Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Hawthorne, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier puppy from a breeder in Hawthorne.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hawthorne already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hawthorne breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hawthorne paves the way for another one to be saved.
