My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Peggy is a 2 year old who is a very happy girl with lots of energy. Her small dog status is not yet known, but she is not cat tolerant and because of her high energy level would not be a good match with small children..

I was named after Jean M.’s mother, who was also a beautiful red-haired girl. Both my body and mind are in perpetual motion. I want to learn everything about my new world and there is so much to see and do! I love to run, jump and play with toys. Sometimes I get so overwhelmed with everything around me, I suddenly plop down and sit (like a non-greyhound). I just need a minute to take it all in.

I’ve heard the peoples describe me as happy, friendly, outgoing, high prey and high energy. It’s all true. Today at the doctor’s office, there was a fluffy doggie on the wall above the sofa. I jumped up on the sofa and pawed at him. It was really strange. He was totally flat and didn’t feel like a doggie at all!

Anyhoo, I also agree with the peoples’ assessment that it would be unwise for me to live with cats, chickens, or any other small furry/fluffy/feather balls of deliciousness. Oh, that reminds me, I really like treats.

I’ve been told that I am little (a good thing in a small package perhaps) and that that I’m very talkative. Did I tell you I have an interesting birthdate – 11/12/13? How’s that for easy to remember?! I’m hoping to throw a big bash on my third birthday. I’d invite some on my greyhound friends; you could invite some of your friends. We could run around together, play games, and eat biscuits and ICE CREAM! Maybe we could even play bobbing for hot dogs!

You should contact the SA GREY people right away and tell them you want to meet me. You won’t regret it. I am TOTALLY the life of the party and promise to be a stimulating member of your family.
