Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi! My name is Honey. I'm a 1 year old blend of Shepherd and Cattle Dog. I might have some other breeds in there but Shepherd/Cattle dog is what I see when I look in the mirror :)
My people left me tied to the shelter gate overnight with a note. Guess they were ashamed to turn me in the proper way and show their face. Their note said I was a good girl but the children had lost interest in me since I was no longer a cute fuzzy puppy. I was now a burden instead of a bundle of joy.
Despite being abandoned, I'm not the least bit neurotic. I know there is something better in my future and am looking forward to my new home and family. To help you decide if I'm the right one for you, here's some interesting tidbits about me and my awesome personality.
I'm agile, confident and most of all...fun!
I will always take attention over food.
I'm in the 40 pound range- perfect for most laps.
Anyone that cares for me gets my implicit devotion.
I love long walks and hiking.
And yes, I'm housetrained and crate trained.
I'm being fostered with a big goofy male named Trooper. We get along famously but I'm thinking I would be just as happy having a person or family all to myself. Someone I could devote my life to.
So there you have it. My life story...so far. Think we would be a good match? I'm confident that someday I will be someone's best dog ever!!!
