Mack's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Mack's Story...
My name's Mack, a 1.5 year old Boxer/Pit Bull mix. I've had a rocky start to life! I was adopted from KHS once, but they brought me back. Then, they changed their minds and took me back home only for me to end up as a stray a few weeks later and no one ever came to claim me! Rude!

I'm a fun, sweet, active boy who needs something to do, and a very active family to love! Doggy daycare would be a great fit for me on days when you're going to be gone a long time. I get along great with other dogs, I'm potty trained and good with kids. No cats for me! I might be a big boy, but I refuse to admit I'm not a lap dog and I don't mind being held like a baby. I'm neutered, microchipped, HW negative, vaccinated and dewormed.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mack, a Wichita American Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer for sale in Wichita, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer dog from a breeder in Wichita.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wichita already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wichita breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wichita paves the way for another one to be saved.
