Gatsby's Story...
If a dog could smile, Gatsby does. He's so good-natured, it's hard not to believe he's smiling at us. We rescued Gatsby from a full animal control facility. We don't have his history but know he's well-mannered, knows "sit" and "lay", loves belly rubs, is melt-in-your arms friendly and seems to be OK around other dogs too.

Gatsby is around 1 1/2 years old, 48 pounds, neutered and healthy. He's very lovable and is good with people of all ages. Since he's a husky mix, he'll benefit from lots of exercise and time outdoors as well as the occasional problem solving game or toys to keep him engaged.

You really have to be around this dog to appreciate how sweet he is. Come meet him!

Email Homelesspetsfoundation@gmail.com or call 770-971-1556 for more info. Or fill out an adoption application, found at www.homelesspets.com/adoption-form.

Adoption fees include spaying/neutering, micro-chipping, vaccinations up to date at the time of adoption, one free check-up at Town & Country main vet clinic within 14 days of adoption and a free session with Tenasity dog trainers!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gatsby, a Marietta Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Husky dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky breeders who help with Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
