Vannie's Story...
Her face may be gray, but her heart is pure gold! Everyone knows senior dogs have just had more time to learn to love...and Vannie is a pro at this cuddling/lovebug thing! 9 yr old Vannie loves people and LOVES to be carried around and pet. She is the perfect mellow lap dog and at just 10 pounds is a great size to take everywhere with you. Vannie doesn't ask for much- she's mellow, quiet and just wants to call someone furever. Vannie gets along with her kennel mates and would love to meet your dog from home- bring them in for a meet and greet and we can help you make sure everyone gets along.

If you're looking for a sweet companion dog, consider making a difference in the life of a senior- consider adopting VANNIE! You can meet Vannie in D building at the West Valley Animal Care Center at 2500 S. 27th Ave., Phx Az. Hours are from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mon-Fri and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sat & Sun. Vannie's $20 adoption fee includes spay, rabies certificate and County license.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Vannie, a Phoenix Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
