Leonardo's Info...

I am already neutered, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with cats.

Leonardo's Story...
Leonardo is a 1.5 year old charmer rescued from NYC kill shelter. He is a little shy at first but his foster person is diligently working on convincing him humans are good and caring. We don't know why Leonardo was brought to the shelter but he wasn't neutered or microchipped (he is now) so there is no way to find out how he spent the first years of his life.

Leonardo likes cats and people but is shy at first. We are confident he will become a lapcat as he enjoys pets and chin scratches.

Leonardo has extra "fingers" on all four paws.

He is fixed, vaccinated, tested (negative) for FIV and FELV, microchipped and awesome.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Leonardo, a Brooklyn Hemingway/Polydactyl cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hemingway/Polydactyl for sale in Brooklyn, or seeking a Hemingway/Polydactyl cat from a breeder in Brooklyn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brooklyn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brooklyn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hemingway/Polydactyl breeders who help with Hemingway/Polydactyl rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brooklyn paves the way for another one to be saved.
