I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Hero's Story...
Hero is a young gentle dog who was neglected for some time before he was rescued. When he first got out of the shelter, he was more than ten pounds overweight, barely able to walk without stumbling, and unable to settle down or relax.

Despite the amount of neglect he suffered, he is sweet, very people oriented, and solicitous. He loves people and other dogs. He gets along with all other 6 dogs at his foster family, including another foster dog named Max who got out of a different shelter on the same day. Hero and Max are kind of like soul mates.

Hero works very hard to get your attention and loves to cuddle all the time. He has gotten a lot of training since being freed and is a fast learner. He is completely housebroken and well-behaved at the dog park without a leash. He really looks you in the eye, and you should be warned it is very hard to say no to him.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hero, a Berkeley Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Berkeley, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Berkeley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Berkeley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Berkeley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Berkeley paves the way for another one to be saved.
