Cagney has been adopted! -- Please look at our other Rat Terriers awaiting homes!

Cagney is a 12-week-old male puppy. He is a sweet little love bug weighing in at 6 lbs. We are guessing he will be about 15 to 18 lbs. when fully grown. He plays well with his sister and his other foster siblings. He is a very smart puppy and is already crate trained. In his crate he has been accident-free for 8 hours and through the night. Cagney runs right outside and does his business when let out. He loves to give kisses and snuggle up in your arms. He is not a big barker but will once in a while during play. Cagney would be great with other small dogs and possibly cats. He is doing well with his potty training. Cagney and his sisters were abandoned when his family moved and took their mom. They left the puppies to fend for themselves in the yard. A nice neighbor alerted a local shelter that they needed help. Cagney is such an easy puppy! Cagney's sister Abby found a home. Now it is Cagney's turn. Can you be his new family? Please take a moment to watch a video of Cagney.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cagney, a Arkadelphia Rat Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier for sale in Arkadelphia, or seeking a Rat Terrier puppy from a breeder in Arkadelphia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Arkadelphia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Arkadelphia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier breeders who help with Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Arkadelphia paves the way for another one to be saved.
