Whoa, check out Scoot! He's a darling 13-month-old, 10-lb. dollbaby. He loves to play with other dogs, is great with cats, and seems to adore strangers and children (though he has never lived with any kids). Scoot is a pooch that has had two homes already in his short life, due to owners moving and becoming ill. He really deserves a forever home, one that will keep him forever, safe and loved. Scoot is house trained and is working on crate training (he's vocal the first few minutes in a crate). He's a little dynamo in a pint-sized package. Scoot can not be any cuter, and would love a home for the howl-idays. Scoot on over to our website to apply for this dear boy! Oh, and make sure you check out more pictures of the Scoot Man and see this video of Scoot, too!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Scoot, a Arkadelphia Rat Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier for sale in Arkadelphia, or seeking a Rat Terrier dog from a breeder in Arkadelphia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Arkadelphia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Arkadelphia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier breeders who help with Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Arkadelphia paves the way for another one to be saved.
