Buster's Story...

This dog's fosterhome is located in: ****SOUTH WINDSOR, CONNTETTICUT****

Meet Buster!  Buster is one and a half years old and weighs 15 pounds. He is being fostered in South Windsor CT. This cutie-pie is a very happy, energetic guy who would love a family with children of his very own to play with.  Because of his owner's health issues, ResQ was asked to help find him a wonderful, forever home.  He is a very cute boy, as you can see!  He is full of personality, and his favorite game is to play with toys and return balls thrown for him.  He could play fetch all day!  He is housebroken and sleeps in a crate at night, like a good boy.  He loves to be with his family, but may need some time to adjust to any other dogs in the household as he has not made friends with his foster sisters yet.  He loves to sit with you when you relax on your couch.  He does very well walking on a leash, but would love a fenced-in yard so he can do his super sonic rattie runs.  Do you have room in your heart and home for this little boy?  He has his bags packed, and wants to be adopted!  He promises to be a good boy if you will choose him!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buster, a Arkadelphia Rat Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier for sale in Arkadelphia, or seeking a Rat Terrier dog from a breeder in Arkadelphia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Arkadelphia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Arkadelphia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier breeders who help with Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Arkadelphia paves the way for another one to be saved.
