Hi my name is Giselle or GiGi. I've got a sad story but don't feel sorry for me, my happy ending is yet to come. I was found in the woods as a puppy and had to be trapped in order to go to a home with humans. I'm still fine tuning my life with people, I cowar at times when things get noisy, (Why do they talk so loud!? ) I'm super affectionate when things are quiet and I'll let you know I want a head rub because I'll bump you like cat. I really love my foster brother Elvis,a red heeler mix. He's got more energy than me but it's fun to get him excited and watch him run circles in the back yard. I have a grumpy older brother Bert Brady (Doodle) that doesn't like his space invaded. I thought those kind of fancy dogs were supposed to be so friendly.?? Not so much. I guess he's not a cuddler. There's a human boy in my house, he's a teenager. He gives us treats and doesn't tell mom if we lay on the couch with him. I'm quiet at night, quiet in my crate and barking dogs don't bother me. I can be left out without incident. Mom loves that. I'm not destructive and completely house broken. Mom loves that too. I LOVE being brushed, when you stop I will paw and nudge you to keep going. Have you seen how pretty I am?! The perfect size. Don't ask if my ears stand up, it aggravates my Mom. She says it has no bearing on how awesome I am. She thinks I'm the prettiest girl ever. Moms always say stuff like that. Honestly my mom would love to keep me. She has 4 dogs, and I'm one of the best behaved. She is looking for a home better than hers with more attention and love and won't let me settle for anything less. I would be best in a home with older kids or someone retired. I love having a doggie sibling if they are welcoming and playful ( not like my Doodle brother) You'll have to be patient and let me warm up to you, I'll come around.... And follow you room to room.... And put my head in your lap while your trying to read. I'll be your best friend and so grateful for your love and attention. No house training or chewing your furniture, just lots of love. What dog is better than that?

Our adoption process consists of a telephone interview, a call to your veterinarian and a home visit. If you have any questions about the adoption process please contact sgsrescue@gmail.com .
