THEIR STORY: Meet "Nacho" a full bred Apple head Chihuahua. He is 5 years old and is a male. He had a rough life before his rescue. A undeserving couple bought him from a breeder 5 years ago and as they slowly got more and more into drugs, they put poor Nacho in their fore-thoughts. He lived the last two years in a tiny bathroom. He was covered in fleas and his whole back side and tail were raw and bloody. When he was let out he was tied to the porch by himself and fed when they had spare money or remembered.
PERSONALITY: Nacho is very sweet and loving when he knows you. He gets friendly with strangers fairly quickly. He is temperamental at times, especially when he is in his crate or bed. He doesn't like to be bothered when eating either. He would be great in a home with other small dogs or cats as he gets along great with mine. He would not do well in a home with children or big dogs. We are searching for a good home for lil' Nacho. He deserves it!
IN ORDER TO ADOPT FROM US:
1) Please show up with a leash to take nacho home
2) We will have you fill out an adoption contract (your personal information as well as mine).
3) The adoption fee is $100 dollars. This will help cover a small portion of his vet bills since he came to us without the proper vetting.
4) We will take a picture of you and your newly adopted pet. Then in a month we contact you to see how the adoption is going and send you the photos we took.
WHAT YOU WILL RECEIVE FROM ME:
1) You will receive a 4 page informational packet that can answer any questions you may have. Has information of places to get discounted meds and other things.
2) Spay/Neuter certificate OR vet documents
3) Copy of the adoption contract (will have the animals DOB and background on it as well as our contact information)

***REMEMBER WE WILL ALWAYS take the animal back if the adoption isn't working out. I don't want to see them given to the Humane Society (which can euthanize upwards of 50 or more cats a day like our local shelter) or put back on the streets******
