Hi My name is Marian and I'm about a year old indoor kitty. I had allergies that are finally under control. I am is a lap cat and like nothing better than to sit in a lap and try to figure out what you are doing. One of my favorite things is to watch my foster mom work on the computer and try to catch the cursor. I understands "no"" with a palm down. I am really smart and sweet! I have a sister name Minerva looking for a home too! If you are interested in me please go to and fill out a adoption application. Thanks!

About Pet Adoption and Wellness Services (PAWS)

About Our Rescue Group...

Pet Adoption and Wellness Services is a non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing homeless and abandoned animals, from high-kill shelters and owners who can no longer care for them. By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, local veterinarians, and trainers, we are able to rescue animals, provide them with loving temporary care, and find them well-matched, carefully-screened forever homes. We also serve as a resource to our community and all pet owners by providing education and information on responsible pet ownership, including the importance of spay/neuter, positive behavior training, and good nutrition.

Our Adoption Process...

We required those interested in adopting a dog or cat to fill out our online Pet Adoption Application and Agreement, which is on our website at Our Board of Directors will review your application and get back to you asap. If your application is approved, we will arrange a meeting with you and the adoptable pet. If the pet appears to be a good fit for your family, we may visit your home to ensure that the environment is suitable for that particular pet. We also require a $200 adoption fee for most dogs, $75 for Pit Bulls and Chihuahuas and $25 for cats, along with a signed contract indicating that you will properly care for the adopted pet and return him/her to us if it doesn't work out for any reason.
