Charming and quirky BESS is persistently affectionate almost immediately. She so much deserves a lap to call her own, not one she has to share. She will need a brief asjustment period, then - she will be seeking your attention. Once she has it, she becomes a purr machine. She needs you to know, however, that she doesn't like being picked up - rather, let her come to you so you can have the privilege of petting her while she purrs non-stop. If things are quiet, she will even settle on your lap, still purring. She has taken to liking being brushed. One of her charms is that she will come out and enthusiastically greet company, looking for a petting hand. Her big eyes are green, and there's plenty of caramel in that luxurious Tortie coat. Her unique tail is half Tortie, half orange Tabby. Coming to Home at Last in 2011, she is now about 5 yrs. young, and wants you to know that in the cat world, 5 years is not old - many well cared for cats live into their late teens or even early twenties.
Bess is spayed, tested negative for Feline Leuk and FIV, treated for worms and fleas, is microchipped, and UTD on her vaccinations. No known health issues are evident. $40 adoption fee. Call Dorothy at 352-666-9209 in Spring Hill, or email firstname.lastname@example.org. She is often at Petco (in the back of the store) in Spring Hill, but will "show" better at home.
