Meet Bosco, a little underweight boy saved from a NYC shelter.  He appears to be about 10 years old, and weighs about 6 pounds, but he could stand to gain a few pounds.  This sweet boy was scared to be handled when he first arrived into rescue, but now being handled so much, he has stopped growling and enjoys human touch.   We think his initial reaction was because he has limited sight and hearing.  It appears he at least can see shadows since he loves to follow the other dogs around in his foster home.  Bosco will thrive in a home with another dog, so his new home must have another small dog.  He moves very quickly when he can follow or be next to another dog - almost as if the other dog is a guide dog for him, and his tail wags and wags when he is among other dogs!!  Even though he has growled, he has no aggression/biting issues at all.  Bosco will be a very sweet, happy dog with someone who can give him the attention he deserves.  He now loves to curl up next to his foster mom on the couch and to be petted.  When taken out on a regular schedule, he is doing well with going potty outside.
