Mimi (NC)'s Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, not good with kids, and good with dogs.

Mimi (NC)'s Story...

Little Miss Mimi is a sweet 9 lb Maltese. She was taken to a shelter when her owner 'didn't want her anymore'. Well, we want her! Just because you're ten years old and have cataracts, doesn't mean life has to be over.
Although she can't see very well, Mimi is able to function. She knows where her food and water dishes are. She uses a pee pad in the house to do her business. She can go up stairs, but needs help coming down. She comes to the couch to be picked up, then lays next to you with her back touching your leg.
If you want a little snugglebug as your best buddy, Mimi is the girl for you.
She is being fostered in High Point, NC.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mimi (NC), a Gadsen Maltese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese for sale in Gadsen, or seeking a Maltese dog from a breeder in Gadsen.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gadsen already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gadsen breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese breeders who help with Maltese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gadsen paves the way for another one to be saved.
