My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Adoption Donation: $350.00 for both

2 Maltese are always better than 1!!!!   Allie & Callie are a bonded pair.

Callie & Allie are darling girls that were abandoned by their owner and turned over to an animal shelter shortly before Christmas. The shelter was great to work with and contacted us so the girls could get into breed rescue. These beautiful girls are clearly used to being house companions. They expect love, sofa time & treats. They are willingly & reliably pottying in a fenced yard and on potty pads in the house. Both girls had dentals, are spayed, micro chipped, up to date on vaccinations, parasite free and heart worm negative. They seek each other out to sleep with and seem to rely on and care greatly for each other. These girls must be adopted together. We will not separate them. These dogs are absolutely wonderful little souls, and any home would be blessed to have them grace their lives.

Callie:
Callie is a tiny bit bigger of the 2 and a bit younger than Allie. Callie is at a good weight at 5.6 pounds and I estimate her age to be around 8yrs. She really seeks out human love & companionship, following her foster mom around & jumping up on the sofa to join us. Callie has not lost all her teeth but she did lose quite a few (as is typical of the older tiny dogs / Maltese who have been fed poor foods and not had good dental hygiene throughout their life). Callie has the beginning of cataracts though she can see quite well. She also has grade 4 luxating patellas, but this does not slow her down (though I try to keep her from too much of that jumping up on the sofa stuff!)

Allie:
Allie is smaller but a tad pudgy & she LOVES to eat. She will do a little dance & just vibrate all over when it is time for food. She weighs 4.8 pounds and I estimate her age to be around 9 or 10yrs. Allie lost all her teeth but one & so she has the cute little tongue hanging out of her mouth. She can get a bit bossy with Callie at times about sharing her bed, treats, or bowl but Callie just ignores Allie’s grumbling. Allie is a darling little diva; the tiny ones are always the most expectant of having their way aren’t they?

These babies are a find and are being loved and pampered in West Harrison, NY until someone is fortunate enough to qualify for them.  Fill out an app, because they won't be available long!
