Hello world!  My name is Emma Thompson, named after the lovely, classy actress, and I'm trying to live up to her name.

I am about 2 years old and weigh in at 6.5 pounds.  I have been shaved down to get rid of all the mats, but my new hair is silky and white.  My foster mom gives me an A+ for house manners and I've only had only one accident!!!!  I love the outdoors and run like the wind when I'm in the yard...but quickly am looking to come back inside to find a lap where I can nap.   I also love to cuddle up in bed at night.

I'm happy to have other dogs to play with, but will fare well as an only pup if I have human company during the day since I am a very social diva.

I hope you will consider me as your new 'forever' dog.  You won't be disappointed.  I'm being loved, loved, loved in Rome, GA til someone is lucky enough to qualify for me.  Maybe you??

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Emma Thompson*Adopted, a Chattanooga Maltese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese for sale in Chattanooga, or seeking a Maltese dog from a breeder in Chattanooga.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chattanooga already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chattanooga breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese breeders who help with Maltese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chattanooga paves the way for another one to be saved.
