Thunder was rescued very underweight at 78lbs, filthy, dragging a heavy rope behind him. Now at a healthy 95lbs, this handsome shepherd is calm, sweet & very devoted to his people.
Thunder's perfect home would be a home with a big back yard, a comfy, inside bed, and someone to pay attention to him. Thunder is affectionate and appreciates attention but doesn't demand it. He would love to sit by his person and also to go outside off and on during the day. He is crate trained, so he doesn't mind waiting for a play break. He would make the perfect companion for a retired person, a laid back environment, or someone seeking a quiet companion. It would be better if he was the only male dog, but Thunder would enjoy a girlfriend or even two or more.
