My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

ANDY is a young Terrier/Beagle mix found abandoned in a remote rural area. We estimate his date of birth to be March 2015. He weighs about 24 lb., is heartworm negative, neutered, fully-vaccinated, de-wormed, and current on flea, tick and heartworm preventives. Andy has a sweet, friendly, affectionate nature. He is a little shy with strangers, but once he knows you're safe, he warms up quickly and freely offers a tail wag and kisses. He is house-trained but still has an occasional accident. He has learned how to use the doggie door and kennels for nighttime sleeping (when you toss a MilkBone in his crate). He is making progress learning to walk on-leash but does best eliminating off-leash in a fenced area. Once properly introduced, he does well with other non-aggressive dogs, but he could easily be an only dog. He has also learned not to chase the household cat! Andy still has some playful puppy ways. He is very obedient, responding immediately to verbal correction. He enjoys toys and chew bones. In the evening, he settles down nicely and lays quietly on his dog bed while you read or watch TV. He greets his human exuberantly and needs his hugs. Andy would be an excellent companion for just about anyone. This is a courtesy posting. This dog is not affiliated with P.S. I Love You! Animal Rescue but is fostered by another party. For more information, please contact Janel Miller at dogrefuge@gmail.com.
